Our Story
Founded in 2005 by Carine Hustler (formerly Du Plessis), Nieuwoudt-Du Plessis Incorporated began as a small sole proprietorship with a vision to provide trusted, client-focused legal services to the Eastern Cape community.
Through dedication, integrity, and a commitment to excellence, the firm steadily grew to become a respected, medium-sized law practice. Over the years, our team has expanded to include a dynamic group of attorneys, legal professionals, and administrative staff—each sharing the same passion for delivering exceptional service and meaningful results for our clients.
In 2017, Ian Runchman joined our firm, he was admitted in 1998, and as a notary in March 2000. He brought with him a wealth of experience. His leadership added new depth to our firm and broadened the range of services we offer, strengthening our ability to serve a diverse client base.
Today, Nieuwoudt-Du Plessis Incorporated stands as a trusted name in the legal profession, with a strong footprint in the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality and beyond.
